Chapter 2

Slash and Waffle found a grassy trail and followed it. "Follow me Waffle this trail should lead us to master Koko's place, he is a strong Yoshi, he will teach us some great magic skills" Slash told Waffle.

When they were half way they they came upon a large grass area. "Is this it?" Waffle asked. "No it is not we must keep going," Slash told Waffle.

"But we've been walking for over 2 hours now, I think we should look for something to eat now" Waffle said They searched around the area, they found an apple, a bag of "yoshi cookies" and a bottle of water.

After they finished eating they kept going. But they found a old abandoned castle and in front of it was something they would have never imagined. It was SCORPION!

They looked at him without saying a word, he took a couple steps forward and looked at them seriously. The two heroes were scared of the terrible Yoshi that stood before them. Waffle managed to find the stregnth to shoot pne of his most powerful attacks "the ice ball": it's a blue ball of energy that is cold beyond anything. Scorpion used his magic force field to bounce it back to Waffle and so it did.

KAPOOW!! Waffle was down. Slash had no choice but to fight for his friend. He was about to hit Scorpion with his sword but he blew him away. Slash tried to shoot an energy ball at him but he just melted it. He almost seemed unbeatable. None of Slash's attacks were working. Scorpion shot a white ball of energy at him. Slash bounced it back with a slash of a sword. Scorpion shot it back, slash shot it back. That kept happening about 10 times until it eventually hit Slash and he was out just like Waffle.

"Good thing I got rid of those fools before they reached master Koko. With his magic on their side I might have lost that battle. I'd better do some training I might encounter another enemy... another enemy like Lyko... I know you're out there somewhere, Lyko. I CAN SENSE YOU!!! I'm coming!" Scorpion flew out of there and tried to find a person named Lyko. Strange, I thought that was the kingdom's name. Oh well let's just move on with the story.

Scorpion searched everywhere. The last place he checked was a forgotten cave close to the ocean. He searched in there. "I can sence your power Lyko and it's much more powerful since the last time we fought... where are you? ... STOP HIDING!"

"Heh heh heh, well, freak out." Lyko said. Lyko is a white yoshi wearing the same kind of hooded clothes Scorpion wears. Scorpion stood there frustrated, sweating and frightend. He charged at him. He punched Lyko a couple times then later shot some energy blasts. Lyko was getting hurt but didn't fight back. "This is your final chance, Scorpion." Lyko said "Change your ways and your life will be spared."

"HAH! You're worrying about MY life! You should be watching your back, maybe not even sleep. I killed you once, I can kill you again!" Scorpion said charging at him. This time Lyko fought back with a scythe just like Scorpion. SMASH went one scythe, POW! went the other. Both Yoshis bleeding everywhere continued their fight.

Meanwhile, Waffle woke up back at the big castle. "Ouch my head, that's gonna leave a mark for the rest of my life. I was actully surprised I wasn't just killed. Then again that WAS sorta my own attack so yeah." Waffle looked down and saw Slash lying on the ground. "OH MY GOODNESS, SLASH!"

Slash opend his eyes and said, "Ack! Waffle... I've fought many intense battles... but this... was nothing like those... look, go to master Koko and tell him about me... after you're done training with him ask him... GAK! Ouch! ...tell him... tell him where the holy water is... It's the only thing that can revive... the... the... dead... uhh."

Slash fell dead. Waffle didn't let Slash's death get to him. He journeyed to master Koko's place, for he knew he was almost there.

Back at the cave Scorpion and Lyko fought. Scorpion's scythe had broke. Scorpion didn't give up, he seemed to fight Lyko more focused and harder than the battle with Slash and Waffle. Scorpion used his magic to blow up Lyko's Scythe. "What! What's happining to my scythe!!" then KAPOOW "AHH it exploded! And so did my left arm!!!" Lyko yelled. Lyko fell down and said "I will... be back" and then his body disappeared.

"And I will be prepared. More prepared then I was for this battle, Lyko."
