Kaashi healed from his wound, but he will never forget that fateful day nor will he forget Mark. He almost always wears the bracelet to remind him of a friend lost forever. Kaashi aged five years from his awakening to now. Kaashi found a wife and has a child, and have lived happily ever since. He still gives seminars and tells his story to all yoshis on the island. Every yoshi on the island wanted to hear his story, but no matter how many times he told them, they wanted to hear it again.

Kiki also tells Kaashi's story to yoshis when Kaashi isn't there. She found a husband, but has no children. She and Kaashi visit frequently. And Kiki was happy that Kaashi survived.

Mark grew up and moved away. He has never forgotten Kaashi since that fateful night.

The chieftain is still in power, but is getting old and weak. He tells Kaashi's story with Kiki at the village.

Miguel was never heard from again after that night.
